This is an exciting opportunity to work with Nurture Lakeland to develop cycle tourism in and around the town of Penrith in Eden, Cumbria. Eden has an exceptional landscape and enormous potential for the development of cycle tourism, with a dense network of relatively quiet roads. Penrith also marks the crossing point for the End to End and C2C major cycle routes and has been identified as a Cycle Hub. This role will turn that vision into reality.
The work will entail developing and implementing an exciting range of projects to make the Cycle Tourism Development Plan a reality, including events, route development and improvement, App development and information provision and the development of a cycle hub for Penrith.
This post is full time for 10 months, based in Eden in Cumbria and Nurture Lakeland’s offices in Staveley.
Salary £21,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.
